THE Saturday Medal Competition at Oake Manor Golf Club produced some good scores with Greg Scribbins winning division 1 with nett 68 while Ashley Evans came second with nett 70 and Jamie Biddiscombe was third with nett 71.

Callum Foster won division 2 with nett 65, the best score of the day, Logan Thomas came second with nett 66 while Kieran Thomas was third with nett 69.

On Sunday there was a Mixed Greensomes Competition for The Jack King Husband and Wife Trophy. Any mixed pair can enter but the top placed married couple win the trophy. Ladies Captain Mary Beakes and Barry Roberts were the runaway winners with a superb 48 points, in second place with 41 points were Daphne Priddy and John Matravers while in third place were Mixed Golf Organiser Helen White and Paul Rich also with 41 points.

The best placed married couple and winner of the Jack King Trophy were Jill and Ian Loader.

Ashley Gaines won the Sunday Stableford Competition, scoring 41 points just ahead of Darren Cornwall, also with 41 points while in third place was Joe Holman with 39 points.

In the Seniors Monday Stableford Competition Steve Cann was the winner of division 1 with 35 points, Richard Crouch came second with 34 points and Jonathon Shepherd was third also on 34 points. Ian Ramus won Division 2 and was the overall winner with 38 points while Terry Brown came second with 36 points and Mike Cook was third with 33 points.

Jenny Musgrove won the Ladies Tuesday StablefordCompetition with 30 points Mary Beakes came second in division 1 also with 30 points while Pam Akers was third with 29 points. Patricia Campbell won division 2 with 30 points while Gill Hadley came second with 29 points and Rachel Hughes was third with 26 points.
