WITH title rivals Watchet not playing, Ashbrittle will be looking to strengthen their position at the top of the first division in the West Somerset Cricket League this afternoon (Sat, Aug 1).

Ashbrittle go into their home game against Over Stowey, surprise winners against Watchet last weekend, with a 29-point lead over the seasiders.

In the second division, Stogumber play at home to Churchinford with a 32-point lead over second-placed Stoke St Mary who entertain Roadwater who are only 14 points behind them.
