Minehead Bowling Club celebrated its centenary on Sunday with 40 bowlers enjoying a fun bowls drive, many dressed in period costume. A centenary cake made by a m,ember’s daughter was cut by the club’s longest-serving bowlers, Ruth Edwards and Norman Ackland, and president John Patching proposed a toast to the club, wishing it well for the next 100 years.
