WORLD ranked veteran marathon runner Kevin Shelton-Smith and fellow members of Minehead Running Club will be taking part in the Taunton Half on Sunday, March 1.
The event will start in the town centre and will begin at 10 a.m. It features a 13.1 mile road race with a four-hour time limit, along with a Kids Kilometre fun run which kicks off 15 minutes later. The half marathon, in its 40th year, starts and finishes on North Street.

Shelton-Smith is organising a new race from Blue Anchor on May 31 called Race The Tide, Chase The Train, running along the beach from Minehead and back. Visit mineheadrunningclub.co.uk
