A BLAZING sun and cloudless skies brought the crowds to Porlock Recreation Ground on Sunday (August 2) for the village’s popular annual country fair.

Family fun and entertainment included classic car and motorcycle displays, a fun dog show, stilt walking, crockery-smashing, face-painting, a bouncy castle, and hawk demonstrations.

Lynmouth’s Shanty Crew were among entertainers providing constant music throughout the day and stalls displayed a wide range of goods and country crafts from basket weaving to glass and leatherwork.

Families enjoyed the circus workshops, line dancing, children's races, stilt walking, and displays from Porlock firefighters and Exmoor Search and Rescue.

A beer tent, hog roast, pizza van, and teas and cakes kept visitors refreshed as they had fun in the sun.
