WIVELISCOMBE is joining communities across the country to screen The People’s Emergency Briefing.
In November 2025, more than 1,200 MPs, peers and leaders gathered at Westminster for the National Emergency Briefing with leading experts assessing the UK’s exposure to climate and nature risks.
A 50-minute public film covering the event, The People’s Emergency Briefing, was launched nationwide in April.
Supporter of the project Baroness Rosie Boycott will be attending, with MP Rachel Gilmour, local councillors, and representatives of local groups also invited to the screening which will include an open discussion.
The screening takes place on Thursday, July 9, at Wiveliscombe Town Hall from 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm.
Tickets are free but booking is required at www.tickettailor.com/events/na245/2227925
