PORLOCK is in for a treat, when the wonderful Tin Giants return to perform at the village hall on Saturday, April 19, from 7pm.
The event is being held to raise funds for Porlock Information Centre.
The band takes a refreshing ‘in with the old, in with the new’ approach to interpreting, writing, arranging and performing traditional, contemporary and original music inspired by European and Celtic acoustic and folk traditions.
The audience will be treated to a dazzling array of instruments including the hurdy gurdy, bagpipes, flute, oboe, harp, mandolin, cittern, guitars, saxophone, keyboards, violin, drums, bass, percussion and vocals.
