A MOUTH-WATERING variety of food and drink, live music, and more than 40 displays by local makers, artists, and businesses are on the menu for Minehead’s first summer Eat and Drink Arts Festival on the Esplanade from 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday, July 4.

It follows the success of a similar event held in Watchet recently which brought hundreds to the town.

Attractions lined up for Minehead include food ranging from waffle-making to award-winning Scotch eggs, to wood-turning demonstrations, a ‘doggie deli’, and displays by Somerset Wildlife Trust.

Live music from local artists throughout the day will feature singer Kelly Dale, the Magic Voices choir, folk duo Wyrd Kin, and guitarist John Pattison.
