WATCHET Town dropped two crucial points when they were held to a 2-2 home draw by Ashcott in the first division of the Uhlsport Somerset County League yesterday (Sat).

Adam Jefferies and Connor Jeromson scored for the seasiders who were 2-1 down at half time.

Watchet's neighbours Minehead had a bad day at the office, losing 6-0 at home to Staplegrove who stretched the lead at the top of the table to seven points over Watchet.

Watchet have a one point lead over third placed Saltford. while Minehead remain in seventh spot.
