IT WAS an all Minehead clash in Division Two of the West Somerset Tennis League this week.

Minehead A would stroll to a 10-1 victory over Minehead B, tightening their grip at the top of the table with six wins after seven games played.

The result drops Minehead B to third, tied on 49 points with Bridgwater B, who were in their own clash with Bridgwater C this week, which they won 10-2.

Both Minehead B and Bridgwater B are 10 points behind Minehead A, who also have the benefit of having less games played than either of them.

Elsewhere in the league, Division One saw Trull B’s misfortunes continued as they suffered their seventh consecutive loss of the season after being beaten 10-1 by Bridgwater A.

In Division Three, Trull C beat Taunton B 8-2 in what could be a pivotal game at the top of the table, with Taunton now seven points off Trull in the play offs.
