JACK produced the performance of the week, beating top of the table Bell All Stars by 38 pins in the Premier Division of the Watchet & District Skittles League, writes Alan Bulpin.

Andy Pyne led the way with 118, while Gus Milton also scored113. All Stars’ leading skittler was Marytn Ketchen with 114.

Shane Coxhead hit a match-winning 138 for Allsorts as they racked up a team score of 704 in defeating Three Ferrets by 77. Ashley Baker scored 116 for the Ferrets.

QC Guys returned to winning ways as Mike Stout, with 115, led them to a 14-pin home victory over Castaways whose Steve Duck scored a top of the alley 119.

Rebels continue to challenge for top spot, after Wayne Gregory hit 107 in their 15-pin home success over Railway Steamers.

In Division A, Dungbeetles’ Phil Hayes scored 99 in their five-pin away victory against Wyndham Pinheads whose Sam Towells topped the alley with 102. Dungbeetles now hold a five-point lead at the top of the table.

For the second week running, Williton Club slipped to an eight-pin defeat, this time to Footy Fockers whose Andrew Duffield hit 113. Roger Mitcheal scored 108 for the Club side.
