MINEHEAD Barbarians face one of their toughest rugby matches of the season when they play away to second-placed Clevedon in Counties Two Somerset on Saturday, April 18.
Minehead, whose match last weekend (April 11) against Imperial was called off because their opponents could not raise a side, will be chasing the season’s double over Clevedon, having beaten their rivals 43-20 at home just before Christmas.
Clevedon trail leaders Burnham on Sea by four points, both sides having only two more games to play.
Minehead, in third place, trail Clevedon by 11 points but have a crucial game in hand.
Burnham on Sea are also in action on Saturday, playing at home to Chew Valley 2nd XV, who are struggling near the bottom of the table.
Fixtures: Burnham on Sea v Chew Valley, Clevedon v Minehead Barbarians, Imperial v Hornets, Avon v Keynsham, Castle Cary v St Bernadettes Old Boys.
The following weekend, Minehead play at home to Burnham on Sea while Clevedon are away to Hornets 2nd XV.

Minehead Barbarians 2nd XV will also be in action on Saturday (April 18) when they play at home to Weston super Mare 2nd XV in Counties Four Somerset South.
Minehead are lying fourth in the table, but have games in hand on all three teams above them. Somerton top the division, having won 14 of their 17 matches, and have a one-point lead over second-placed Burnham on Sea who have a vital match in hand.
