FOOTBALL referees in Somerset at grassroots level will be allowed to wear coloured shirts next season.

The decision has been taken by the Somerset County FA Referee Committee following consultation with other county FAs.

The agreement covers all leagues from the Somerset County League, down through the pyramid of grassroots and youth football.

The agreement does not cover the Toolstation Legaue or any FA Competitions (FA Cup, FA Trophy, FA Vase, FA Youth Cup etc) at this stage.
