PORLOCK will be looking to step up the pressure at the top of the Premier Division in the Centregreat Taunton & District Saturday Football League when they play away to Staplegrove Reserves on Saturday, January 17 (2p.m.).
The West Somerset side are lying fourth in the table and have a game in hand on third-placed Dunwear United who have the same number of points.
Leaders Wembdon, who have dropped only three points this season, have no league game along with second-placed Galmington.
First division outfit Alcombe Rovers entertain Staplegrove Colts in the Somerset Intermediate Cup while Minehead Reserves, 4-1 winners at Alcombe in a league game last weekend, are home to Forton Rangers in the same competition.
Despite the forecast of more rain, it is hoped there will be a full programme of matches in the Saturday League after a number of recent postponements because of the bad weather.
