FOUR Minehead Running Club members travelled to Thurlbear for the fifth Herepath Half, a trail race of just under 14 miles which winds through the countryside east of Taunton.

Kevin Garner was just 30 seconds behind in 63rd, with Charlie Pascall 80th in 2.11.54 and Jayne Chanter 108th in 2.22.05.

Sam Lennon ran in the South Molton Struggle on Sunday, run over 7.8 miles of hills and mud, and despite a niggling injury finished 110th in 1.21.30.

New club member Rebecca Edwards took part in the Exmoor Trail 10k, starting and finishing at Cloud Farm near County Gate and taking in the undulating countryside close by. She was 28th overall and sixth lady in 1.02.25.
