BELL ALL Stars took another step towards winning the title in the Premier Division of the Watchet Skittles League when they beat Bottoms Up by seven pins with Barrie Jones knocking a crucial 106. Mathew Phillips topped the alley with 118.

Second placed Allsorts had Graham Rogers hitting 109 in their narrow two pin success over Combwich Otters whose Lee Jones scored an impressive 140.

Q C Guys' Mark Norman scored a round 100 to help them to a 29-pin away win over Jack, Anthony Cornish scoring 93 for the visitors.g

Division A leaders Rebels slipped to a second defeat in as many games after Chris Weetch, with 107, led White Horse Stallions to a four pin home victory, Nev Weir scored 99 for the visitors while third placed Railway Steamers had Callum Tarr and Paul Gilpin hitting 92 as they lost by 24 pins to a rejuvenated Williton Club side for whom Steve King topped the scoring with 109.

In Division B, leaders Barn Owls had Tom Andrews scoring 101 in their 24 pin away defeat at the hands of Badgers whose Lee Allen hit a top of the alley 108 whilecsecond placed Dungbeetles’ Sean Kendall topped the alley with 111 as they went down by 13 pins to Dizzy’s Boys whose Gary Walsh hit 109.
