MINEHEAD & West Somerset Hockey Club’s two top men’s teams could potentially win their leagues this coming weekend, 11th April.
The Men’s 1’s host Bridgwater 2’s at home at 2pm in a top vs second-place match. If Minehead win they will be champions with a game in hand. If Bridgwater win the teams will be equal on points and it will all come down to next weekend’s final matches to decide the winners.
The Men’s 2’s host Firebrands at 12pm and are sitting on a comfortable 4-point cushion at the top of their League. A win will see them crowned champions with a match in hand.
The Ladies start home match proceedings at 10.30 hosting ISCA in their final match of this year’s campaign; a win will see them end on 4th place in the League.
The Men’s 3s travel to Cullompton who are just a place above the Seasiders in the League, but are ten points ahead in second place.
