THE ‘pro’s’ sponsored a Bowmaker 4-Ball Competition at Oake Manor Golf Club, two scores from four to count.

It was well supported with 132 golfers taking part. The winning team with a score of 95 were Greg Scribbins, Ian Nott, Oliver Nott and Shaun Rigby. In second place with 94 points were Christopher Dubery, Graham McGann, Barry Roberts and Paul Hughes while third were James Greenhow, Nick Hunt, Nigel Jackson and Barry Hardwill, also with 94 points.

Mathew Durbin won the Sunday Stableford with 40 points, narrowly beating Michell Couryer, also with 40 points, while Sam Hallett came third with 39 points.

In the Ladies Sunday Stableford, Catherine Drysdale was the winner with 38 points with Gillian Hadley second with 33 points and Janet Howe third on 27 points.

The Seniors Stableford on Monday saw some good scoring with Andrew Brown winning division 1 with 41 points, John Matravers came second with 39 points while Richard Crouch was third, also with 39 points. Alan Ashby was the division 2 winner, scoring 40 points with Edward Winter second, also with 40 points, while Kenneth Pitcher came third with 38 points.

The Ladies played a 36-hole Stableford for the “Kinnear Cup.” Amanda Mather was the clearwinner. scoring 77 Stableford points with Pamela Akers second with 74 points and Kate Foster third, also with 74 points.

On the same day the Ladies had an 18 hole Stableford won by Patricia Campbell with an excellent 45 points while Julie Cross came second with 43 points and Karen Potter third, also with 43 points.

In the Wednesday Midweek Stableford Philip Coleman won division 1 with 42 points, Steven Clapp came second with 40 points with Mark Gladstone-Smith third with 36 points. Jordan Smith won division 2 with 42 points with Phillip Coggins second with 40 points and Shaun Antony third with 39 points.
