CHARLIE Wingfield won the Oake Manor Golf Club Sunday Stableford Competition with an excellent score of 41 points.

Charlie won division 2, Daniel Owen came second with 39 points and Thomas Salter third with 38 points.

Richard Barker won division 1 scoring 39 points, Robin Trott was second with 38 points while Simon Greaves came third with 37 points.

In the Ladies Sunday Medal Competition Jill Loader was a clear winner with nett 68, three points clear of second placed Janet Howe on nett 71 while Kathryn Salway was third with nett 72.

The Seniors Monday “Order of Merit” Stableford Competition was well supported and the scoring very close. Dave Lewis was the overall winner and won division 1 with 38 points, Michael Latham came second with 37 points while John Wall was third with 36 points.

Mark Howard won division 2 with 37 points while David Matthews was second, also with 37 points, and Richard Harries came third with 36 points.

The Ladies played a Stableford Competition on Tuesday for the Veterans Trophy. Past Ladies Captain Liz How won division 1 with a superb score of 40 points, Kate Foster was second with 37points and Karen Grabham came third with 35 points. Julie Cross was the division 2 winner with 35 points with Pam Kinnear second on 31 points while Karen Potter was third with 30 points.

Pam Akers won the Veterans Trophy with 34 points, being the best score by a Lady aged over three score years and 10.

The Wednesday Midweek Stableford Competition produced some excellent scores with Jack Jones winning division 1 with 41 points, Robin Trott was second with 35 points and Nathaniel Pepperell third, also with 35 points. Daniel Owen was the division 2 winner with 41 points, Ashley Gaines came second with 38 points while Daniel Payne was third with 36 points.
