IT WAS a familiar story when Watchet Town visited Stockwood Wanderers and fell further adrift from one of the sides nearest to them in the Premier Division of the Uhlsport Somerset County League, going down 4-0.
The visitors missed chances with the scoresheet blank before falling away in the second half and ending up beaten as they conceded the double.
In an end to end opening, keeper Jack Harding made a couple of close range saves before the visitors swept forward and from full back Josh Aspey's inviting cross Billy Jones had his header held by the home custodian.
Jones was then scythed down near the byeline as he cut in from the right but from the inevitable penalty Charley Clausen's spot kick struck the bar and came out again.
Soon afterwards a quickly taken free kick sent Jones into the area again only to pull his angled drive wide of the far post.
More saves from Harding kept Watchet on level terms before the referee gave Stockwood a corner which the visitors protested should have been a goalkick and in the scramble that followed Trotman gave the home team the lead.
While Jones was sinbinned, a shot from Moore squirmed underneath Harding to double the home side's advantage on the restart and Watchet were never seriously in contention for the remainder though Eben Harding hit the bar from a corner before an offside flag was raised, and a cross from the returned Jones went begging almost on the goalline.
Moore added a third with a 20-yarder into the top corner before sub Woolland made it four with Watchet threadbare at the back following a corner of their own.
Watchet: Jack Harding, Ollie Webber, Eben Harding, Nigel Bremner, Josh Aspey, Aerron Clausen, Alex Seys, Harvey Henderson, Charley Clausen, Chase Clausen, Billy Jones. Subs: Owen Cannell, Kris Stevens (both used).
