MINEHEAD Under 12s had an impressive 9-1 win over Ashcott.

Quick passing from the kick-off caught Ashcott unprepared and Taylor High netted inside 60 seconds.

Ten minutes later he put Tommy Robinson through to slide the ball past the keeper, but Ashcott then took advantage of a fumble by the keeper to make it 2-1.

Ten minutes before the break, Harvey Lovell played an excellent pass between two players and High scored again, and four minutes into the second half it was 4-1 when Olly Reaney beat two players and set up Stanley Taylor.

A bad goal-kick by Ashcott fell to Sam Jackson and his cheeky chip only just went over the bar, but soon after, Taylor scored again.

A bad pass was then intercepted by Jackson, who scored another, and further goals came from Scott Kivell and High for his hat-trick.
