PICTURED are award winners at Minehead Football Club’s presentation night for its youth section, which celebrated the successes of the club’s teams from Under 12 to Under 15.

Winners were:

Under 12s - Manager’s Player Archie Dascombe, Most Improved Player Oliver Prescott, Players’ Player Lewis Leach, Clubman Harry Smith.

Under 13s - Manager’s Player George Barnfield, Most Improved Player Alfie Durman, Players’ Player Shahid Abraham, Clubman Ethan Plenty.

Under 14s - Manager’s Player Cameron March, Most Improved Players Sam Cook and Jari High, Players’ Player Harvey Webber, Clubman Ethan Palmer.

Under 15s - Manager’s Player Ethan Hall, Most Improved Player Alex Attwell, Players’ Player Tristan Hawkins, Clubman Toby Waghorn, Top Goalscorer Nathan Collins.

The season has been one of ups and downs for the club’s 14 teams. It has also featured a series of successful fundraising footballing weekends, supported by local businesses including Brandon Tool Hire, Exmoor Skips and Styles Ice Cream, and members and volunteers from the club.
