MINEHEAD Football Club’s ladies’ team are in need of new players.

The club formed its first-ever ladies’ side last year and came fifth in their league, but many of the players decided to leave at the end of the season so they are rebuilding the team for the new season.

The club would like to hear from anyone over the age of 16 who would like to play or try the game - the aim is to have fun and build fitness as well as playing the game.

Matches take place on Sunday afternoons and training is on Wednesdays at 6:30pm at Minehead AFC. Anyone interested should go along or contact club secretary Sarah Vickers on 07940 847040 or at [email protected].
