WATCHET continue the defence of the title in the first division of the West Somerset Cricket League with an away match against Brompton Ralph on Saturday, May 30.

The seasiders have been by far the most successful team in the league in recent years and won the first division championship by 24 points last season, finishing ahead of Ashbrittle who were runners-up.

Meanwhile, Ashbrittle also find themselves on their travels when they play away to Over Stowey who will provide a stern test. Kilve, who finished third last season, play away to Bagborough.

Crowcombe, who won the second division last summer, are home to Bridgetown while runners-up Sampford Arundel are away to Morebath.

In Division Two Lydeard St Lawrence, who just missed out on promotion, play at home to Hemyock who were promoted after finishing top of Division Three last season, while Stogumber play at Churchinford.
