WATCHET Bowling Club (WBC) are still on a roll! On the 13th of May, the Ladies home team enjoyed a good game against Somerton in the South West Ladies League (SWLL), despite the rumbling of thunder all around and one heavy rain shower.

Somerton started gaining but Watchet managed to pull away, resulting in a very good win.

The WBC away team had two debut players for the SWLL who excelled themselves. All the team contributed together very well on a much heavier rink. It was tight fought, low scoring and down to a draw going into the last end.

Unfortunately, Watchet were unable to find the win but did manage to avoid the rain.
