A WEST Somerset man has appeared in court and pleaded guilty to causing criminal damage of an unknown value to a woman’s car in Williton.
Jools Grint, aged 29, of Whitecroft, Williton, appeared before District Judge Angela Brereton, who was sitting in Taunton Deane Magistrates Court, on September 14.
Prosecuting solicitor Emma Lenanton told the court Grint had damaged the window of a Volkswagen car in August of this year intending to destroy or damage it, or being reckless as to whether it would be destroyed or damaged.
Judge Brereton said she had taken Grint’s guilty plea into account and fined him £120 and ordered him to pay compensation of £200 to the woman and £40 toward the cost of the Crown Prosecution Service bringing the case.
