THE Rotary Club of Minehead and The Quantocks has presented £120 to Minehead Dementia Action Alliance.

The money was raised during the Rotary club’s ‘Party in the Park’ held in Blenheim Gardens during the summer.

Presenting the cheque, Carl Horrocks said that the event was very nearly cancelled because of bad weather but it managed to go ahead and various charities have since benefited from the proceeds.

He was joined by Lyn Harding in presenting the cheque to Ann Snelling during a recent Forget-Me-Not session at the Old Hospital in Minehead.
