A NEW business networking group for the West Somerset area is being launched on Wednesday morning (January 14).

Solicitors Amicus Law is hosting the first Connects Minehead event in the Beach Hotel, Minehead, from 8.30 am to 10.30 am.

The new monthly breakfast networking group is aimed at strengthening connections across West Somerset’s business and professional community.

Amicus Law has created Connects Minehead to address a gap in local networking opportunities, providing a welcoming space for collaboration, idea-sharing, and community-led growth.

A spokesperson said: “The relaxed morning format combines informal networking with breakfast, encouraging meaningful conversations between local business owners, professionals, employees, and community champions who are invested in the future of the area.

“The event is open to anybody who works in, runs a business in, or actively supports West Somerset.

“The group aims to nurture long-term relationships that benefit the local economy and wider community.

“This new initiative positions Minehead as a place where local talent and ambition can connect more easily, helping ideas turn into action and partnerships that support sustainable growth across the area.”
