AUDREY Tout was presented with a certificate and brooch to mark 50 years of service to the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal.

The presentation was made by Sir Christopher Airy, president of the legion’s Wiveliscombe branch.

Audrey, who lives in Clatworthy, has not only collected year in year out for the Poppy Appeal but has also supported Cancer Research for 45 years and served 46 years as churchwarden at the village’s St Mary Magdalen Church.
