The new hunt will instead meet in Axbridge on Boxing Day, and will then visit Wiveliscombe at 12 noon on New Year’s Day.
Harriers joint chairman Charlie Pearce said: “The Harriers are proud to continue the old Chipstable Hunt’s tradition of meeting in The Square, at Wiveliscombe.
“This festive meet continues to be one of the highlights of the trail hunting calendar for so many within our local community.
“Our meet on New Year’s Day is also a great opportunity for children and families to meet our lovely Westcountry Harriers.”
