Children at Dunster First School have been busy raising money and awareness for a charity close to their hearts.
Kawasaki disease, a condition which can cause swelling of arteries and lead to heart problems, is more common than meningitis but much less well-known.
Lisa Freegard, mother of Reuben in Year 3 at Dunster First School, said: "We are delighted the school is once again helping raise awareness of Kawasaki disease and we cannot thank them and the families of the school enough for their support - it really does help to make a difference."
Head of School Paul James said: "The school community really united by wearing red to school and making a donation to the charity. Kawasaki disease is the leading cause of acquired heart disease in children in the western world, so we are pleased we are able to help raise awareness of this."
The school community raised £123 which has been sent to the charity.
