POLICE have appealed for public help as they hunt a smash and grab gang who carried out an early hours raid on a gun shop in Wiveliscombe.

Wiveliscombe business owners say 'changes needed to survive' as business rates tripleThe masked men smashed the windows of West Country Guns, in The Square, at about 2.25 am on Sunday (December 14).
They stole a number of items, including specialist pieces of night vision equipment, but appeared not to have targeted any guns, before making off in a dark colour car.
An Avon and Somerset Constabulary spokesperson said: “Officers attended and have carried out inquiries, including CCTV, house-to-house, and forensic examinations, in the area as they work to identify those responsible.
