PASSION for Somerset has won the support of HR consultancy business Reframe HR as a new official partner.

The Taunton-based company will engage with fellow members of the Passion for Somerset project through events, collaboration opportunities and thought leadership, further contributing to the strength and resilience of Somerset’s business community.

Director of Reframe HR, Karen Wellman, explained the motivation behind joining. She said: “We are proud to become an official partner of Passion for Somerset.

“Our work is rooted in supporting businesses to navigate people challenges confidently and proactively.

“Somerset has an incredible business community, and we’re excited to contribute our expertise, build meaningful relationships, and help organisations thrive through practical, performance-driven HR.”

The collaboration strengthens Passion for Somerset’s commitment to supporting organisations across the county with practical, commercially focused people solutions.

Nigel Muers-Raby is the inventor of ’Somerset Day’ and CEO of Passion for Somerset, a not-for-profit CIC founded in 2014 to celebrate all that makes Somerset special. He welcomed the partnership and said: “We are delighted to welcome Reframe HR into the Passion for Somerset community. Strong, effective people management is at the heart of every successful organisation.

“Karen and her team bring clarity, commercial understanding and a practical approach that will be of tremendous value to businesses across the county.”

A day to celebrate Somerset’s economy, history, heritage, beauty and culture, Somerset Day this year will be celebrated on May 9 and 10. Key events will include the Journey of The Somerset Dragon, a Fly the Flag for Somerset event with a call to action for businesses, schools and communities to display their Somerset flag with pride in the streets of Somerset.

The Association of British Counties has stated: “Somerset Day is now rivalling Yorkshire Day and Lancashire Day for its reach across the county.”
