An annual Christmas fundraiser has collected an impressive £1599.72 for the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.
The Plover Close Minehead Christmas lights show has been put on by self-employed gardener Michael Grace for the past three years.
Despite soaring energy bills restricting the time the lights could shine, the display still managed to come within £60 of beating the previous year's total.
Before moving to Minehead, Mr Grace had put on a display at his former home in Brackensfield, Alcombe. Over the last eight years his light shows have raised over £9000 for charity.
A post to the Plover Close Minehead Christmas Lights Display Facebook page said: "With now 2023 here we are already planning one of our cleverest brightest and biggest displays to follow."
They added: "We hope you all have a fantastic Summer. We will be back in November with one of our biggest displays ever. Best wishes to you from the Grace family."
