HAILED by the organisers as the most successful yet, Minehead’s third harbour festival broke all records.

Well over 6,000 people flocked to the waterfront last weekend for two days of free fun.

More than £10,000 was raised for lifeboat funds by the festival, organised by Minehead RNLI in association with Williton-based kayak manufacturer Fatyak and the Old Ship Aground pub.

Crowds were entertained throughout the day by live music, kayak races, children’s entertainment, over 30 local food and shopping stalls, and the traditional highlights of the raft race and fireworks displays.
