MORE than 200 children visited Nynehead Court as it hosted its annual Halloween Spooky Trail in its grounds last week, raising funds for the residents’ fireworks display in the process.

The trail made use of the estate’s extensive tailored grounds, with all manner of Halloween-themed decorations for visitors to find.

The annual tradition provides local families with a fun activity during the school half-term holiday, and over the five days hundreds of children and their families took part.

Although the trail is free to attend, visitors donated a total of £335.60 which will be put towards the annual fireworks display for residents this month.

Home manager Joanne Fenn said: “The Halloween Spooky Trail is a regular fixture on the Nynehead Court calendar, which the residents look forward to as much as our visitors.

“It was lovely to see so many people enjoying the trail, and hearing their wonderful feedback.

“We would like to thank everybpdy for attending, and for their generous donations.

“We will see you again next year.”
