Community support as heads cycle to all eight Moorland Federation schools in a dayPlayers of the wood wind instruments flute, clarinet, saxophone, oboe and bassoon are sought after, alongside all of descant, treble, tenor and bass recorder players of varying abilities for the group’s three recorder ensembles.
All groups meet on Wednesdays, with a few optional concerts and engagements planned throughout the year.
Group organiser Arwen Lewis said: “Beginners, improvers and returners to music, as well as some seasoned musicians have found their niche in the Dulverton groups.
“The members are all fantastically friendly and supportive, have made firm friends and formed many offshoot practising groups and even some small ensembles.”
