AN Oscar-nominated film starring Pamela Anderson, The Last Showgirl, will be screened at the Minehead Regal on Tuesday, May 6 at 7.30pm.
Baywatch star Pamela Anderson gives a fine, nuanced performance as 57-year-old Shelly Gardner, who has given her life to performing in Le Razzle Dazzle, a classic French-style review at a casino resort on the Las Vegas Strip.
But the review is due to close to be replaced with a neo-burlesque circus show leaving Shelly to face the end of the only life she has ever known.
Tickets for the film cost £6, and £4 for concessions, and may be booked in advance online and at the Regal box office.
The Regal Film Society AGM will be held before the performance at 6.15pm in the Regal bar.
