LOCAL MP Rachel Gilmour will become a fashion model at a Williton Community Fashion Show at Williton Pavilion on Saturday, May 9, which will highlight clothes available from local shops.

The special event, from 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm, features clothes from Maria’s Casual Wear and St Margaret’s Hospice shop, in Watchet, and Hayley’s in Williton, in a celebration of fashion, community spirit, and collaboration.

A spokesperson said: “This will be a wonderful opportunity to highlight local businesses while also supporting sustainable fashion and our local hospice.”

South Coast Wave cheerleaders will open the show and will be raising funds for their trip next year to the world championships in Florida.

Tickets are £6.50, including a glass of ‘fizz’ on entry.
