THE annual Carhampton Apple Day will be held on Saturday, October 10, when all things apple-related will be celebrated.

Apple juicing and sales in the community orchard will be happening from 11 am to 3 pm.

Anybody who wants their own apples juiced should take them along pre-chopped between 2 pm and 3 pm and must provide their own bottles.

The village hall has free car parking from 10.30 am and will also be offering morning tea/coffee and home-made cake, while parking for a £1 donation will be available in the recreation ground across the road.

Lunch is from 12 noon to 2 pm with soup and puddings, and there will be apple-related stalls and displays for visitors to purchase apple cakes, chutneys, and other produce.
