THE recent release of sea eagles on Exmoor is to be celebrated with a family activity day in Dunster next week.

The village’s Exmoor National Park Centre will host a white-tailed eagle activity day suitable for all the family on Wednesday (August 19).

A spokesperson said: “Discover the fascinating world of the white-tailed eagle and enjoy a range of fun, family-friendly craft activities.”

The event, which is free, has two sessions, the first from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm, and the second running from 1.30 pm to 3.30 pm.

Visitors can just drop in and do not need to book in advance.

Any voluntary donations given on the day will be used to support the national park’s CareMoor for Exmoor charity.
