West Somerset College is celebrating another year of GCSE success, with students again achieving a record-breaking number of top grades.
Students have “shown remarkable dedication and resilience, and we are immensely proud of their achievements,” said head teacher Zoe Stucki. “This has been a superb year.”
Some 16% of all the grades Year 11 achieved were grades 7, 8 or 9 - a 2% increase in the number of top grades achieved when compared to last year.
Ninety per cent of Key Stage 4 courses improved their results at grades 9-4, 9-5 or 9-7 thresholds when compared to last year’s results.
