A MINEHEAD man being sought by police in connection with a burglary has been found and arrested.

Devon and Cornwall Constabulary issued an appeal last week for the public’s help in finding Ashley Williams, aged 32.

Now, a spokesperson has confirmed Williams was located in Exeter and arrested on suspicion of burglary and stalking.

The spokesperson said he was then released on police bail while officers continued to make inquiries into a residential burglary.

Although he was from Minehead, Williams was known to also have connections to Exeter.

The spokesperson thanked the public for their support in helping to locate Williams.
