Holidaymakers, owners and staff gathered at Hoburne Blue Anchor for the holiday park’s charity dog walk to help raise funds for Mind in Somerset, its charity of the year.

Starting at Hoburne Blue Anchor, the four-mile walk followed the coastal path to Dunster Beach and back to the park.

The park’s general manager, Derek Jones, said: “We had fantastic weather and all the dogs were on their best behaviour, keeping their owners in line.

“We are very happy to be supporting Mind in Somerset. It’s a fantastic cause, and every single penny raised is gratefully received by the extraordinary team at the charity.”

Corporate partnership co-ordinator at Mind in Somerset, Alison Baker, said: “We are delighted that Hoburne Blue Anchor is continuing to support our charity by organising great events such as this.

“Over the last 19 months, our services have been needed more than ever, and the money raised will go towards supporting those who are experiencing mental distress across the county.”
