THE A39 in West Somerset has reopened after a two-vehicle crash saw a woman taken to hospital on Tuesday (February 27).

It led to the road being closed in both directions for several hours while emergency services attended the scene to treat the injured and recover the vehicles.
One person was taken by ambulance to the minor injuries unit six miles away in Minehead Hospital.
