A SPARKING electricity pole in West Street, Wiveliscombe, was dealt with by the fire service shortly before 10am on Sunday (October 16).
Three fire engines, from Wiveliscombe and Wellington, went to the scene where flames were issuing from the pole.
Crews cordoned off the lane where the pole was situated for public safety whole waiting for Western Power assistance.
