A MAN was flown to hospital by air ambulance after being trapped under his quad bike on farmland at Old Cleeve near midnight on Sunday.
Firefighters from Williton needed a 4x4 vehicle to reach the casualty whose machine had rolled over following a crash on land at Barton Farm, Old Cleeve.
They assisted paramedics by stabilising the casualty and cutting off the roof of the vehicle so that he could be released. His injuries were understood not to be life-threatening.
