POLICE issued this CCTV image of a suspect as they hunt two men alleged to have robbed Williton’s Co-Op store after threatening staff with a knife.
The attack took place on Saturday October 28 when the men, said to have thick Liverpudlian accents, entered the shop in the afternoon and stole cash before fleeing in a vehicle driven by a woman.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesman said: “We are appealing for witnesses following the incident and have released an image of a man we would like to speak to in connection with the incident.
“We would also like to speak to anyone who may have seen the men running from the shop.”
The spokesman added that a 32-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of robbery has been released under investigation.
