FIRE crews were called out during the night to an industrial unit in Bicknoller where a digger was alight – a skip and pile of wood were also involved.

The digger was severely damaged in the fire, the cause of which was accidental.

Two fire engines from Williton went to the scene in Upcott Lane at 12.50am.

Compressed air foam, breathing apparatus and hose reel jets were used to put the fire out, along with a thermal imaging camera to check it was extinguished fully.
