THE annual summer skittles competition at the Watchet Royal British Club for the Toby Strong Memorial Cup was well supported this year, and our picture shows the winning team, Dee’s Diamonds.

They beat the runners up, Anchors Away, by just one point, while the wooden spoon for the lowest points was presented to Danny’s Boys.

The trophy for the highest ladies’ score went to Lyn Milton and the highest man’s to Mike Stout, and a special trophy was presented to Stuart Mitcham after he had three balls go through in one hand.

The club expressed thanks all those who took part in the competition.
